Behind California, Illinois and New York were the next US states interested in BTC and ETH.
Data from CoinGecko revealed that 43% of the search traffic about Bitcoin and Ethereum on the crypto tracking website came from California. The internet users from California seem to be most inquisitive about Bitcoin and Ethereum, given the US state’s place as the home to Silicon Valley.
The revelation is significant as California accounts for only 11.9% of the US population. Some of the major companies in Silicon Valley that have invested in blockchain and crypto-based startups include Apple, Google, PayPal, Meta, and Wells Fargo.
