BTC, ETH look up; market cap nears $1T

Most major cryptocurrencies have recorded gains over the last 24 hours.

Bitcoin (BTC) reclaimed $20,000 on Tuesday, August 30, after falling below $20,000 over the weekend due to concerns about the Federal Reserve’s interest rate hike. Bitcoin is currently trading at $20,500 and is up by 3.39% in the last 24 hours.

Most major altcoins are also trading in the green. Ethereum (ETH) increased by 9.71% over the last 24 hours, while Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), and XRP (XRP) increased by 8.17%, 5.16%, and 4.26%, respectively. The global cryptocurrency market cap is inching closer to the $1 trillion mark again, trading at $996 billion after it fell below $950 billion yesterday.
