The crypto market continued to rally on the third day with Bitcoin attempting another stint and getting successful in pushing above the $21k mark after weeks. At the time of writing, Bitcoin was trading at $21.5k, after an increase of 5.5% since yesterday. Ethereum slowed down a bit and was trading at $17.3k, up by 2%. Cosmos remained the altcoin with the biggest gains for the second day in a row.
The total crypto market cap saw a jump of 3.24% and stood at $1.05 trillion. Bitcoin’s trading activity and derivatives trade strongly supported BTC’s 10% rally, we cannot call BTC’s price jump solely a correlative move. However, it is notable that the rally was initiated right after the White House released a report on the energy usage of digital assets.
