Despite the gains, the crypto market has failed to register any clear trend in the past few days.
The crypto market continued to witness ups and downs amidst rising gas prices and the dollar index looking up. Wednesday saw the market retracing part of its Tuesday losses. At the time of writing, the total market cap stood at $974 billion, up by 3.5% since yesterday.
Bitcoin gained back 2.3% in the past 24 hours and was trading at $19,220. Ethereum saw its fortunes rise by 6.7% and stood a little above $1,600 at press time. All other major cryptocurrencies witnessed similar gains, with Ethereum Classic emerging once again as the top gainer with 7.4% gains. Bitcoin dominance fell further to 37.7%.
