Before you initiate the KYC crypto exchange process on Millionero, keep these documents handy:
- National identity card with a photograph, your full name, your date of birth, and a unique, randomly generated National Identification Number, or
- Your passport, or
- Your residence permit, or
- Your driver’s license
Step-by-step process to perform KYC on Millionero
Now, the KYC process in crypto may differ across crypto exchanges. Here’s all you need to know to complete KYC on Millionero in particular:
- First, log in to your Millionero account through your mobile app or our website.
- On your dashboard, you should see the option for KYC verification at the center. Click on ‘Start Verification’.
- Thus start your KYC on Millionero verification process! Firstly, select ‘other countries’ to inform us about your area of residence.
- Once you have made the selection, click on ‘continue’.
- Now you must select your ID issuing country. After that, select the kind of document you would be using to complete the KYC crypto exchange, whether an ID card, a passport, a residence permit, or a driver’s license.
- Moving forward, you have to upload pictures of your chosen ID. You need to ensure the picture is bright, clear, and captures your ID front and center, without the camera being too far away or any of the edges being missing.
- Note that you’ll have the option to use your phone to take photos of your ID once you scroll down, and continue with KYC on your smartphone. All you have to do is click on ‘continue on mobile phone’, and you’ll receive a QR code to scan with your phone camera to take the photo.
- Once you have received this QR, you can go over to your browser and point your camera at the QR to continue KYC on your phone. For example, if you use Google, simply open Google Lens and point your smartphone camera at the QR code you’ll find on the screen to complete KYC on Millionero.
Alternatively, you can also use the ‘copy link’ function and paste the link on your smartphone browser.
- Once you have scanned the QR code, the same webpage you can see on your desktop will open on your phone, and you’ll have the option to choose the ID issuing country and document type again to initiate KYC on Millionero.
- Whether you continue on your desktop or your phone, for ID cards, you must upload photos of both the front and back of your document, as shown in the images below.
- After submitting your identifying information, prepare for a selfie, and once you’re ready, select ‘I’m ready’ to turn on your camera. As the screen will instruct you, you must face the camera, make sure your face is within the frame, and slowly turn your head around in a circle.
- Once you are done with the image, you will be told ‘verification is in progress’, and shown to the following page to ensure uploaded documents are correct. Once you have done the same, click on ‘next’.
- As we process your data, we will greenlight every piece of information shared once we find it valid.
- You must wait until all data is processed.
- Once KYC on Millionero is complete, you will find the following email on your registered email ID:
