Blockchain firm Axelar has partnered with Microsoft, with both collaborating for new blockchain solutions through the Azure marketplace.
Axelar, a cross-chain protocol, has recently teamed up with Microsoft on a partnership. Currently, it is supporting 43 blockchains. Its collaboration with a technology giant like Microsoft could unlock new frontiers in the crypto and blockchain space.
As per the announcement, Axelar will join the Microsoft Azure marketplace. Its blockchain solutions like interoperability and data integration will be thus available for Microsoft customers. The move will also allow the blockchain firm to reach a wider audience. The post indicated that eventually, companies using Azure would be able to integrate emerging technologies with blockchains in a way that benefits them.
Co-founder of Axelar, Sergey Gorbunov, spoke on using public and private blockchains for artificial intelligence applications. He said, “Are the models trained on the data that they’re supposed to be on? Did any private data leak into the models? Are the queries sent to the AI returning accurate results? Can we verify the origins of the data?”
He further said a combination of public and private blockchains could be the answer to the queries on trust. The Axelar General Message Passing (GMP) will be now available for Azure customers, along with solutions like full-stack interoperability, end-to-end blockchain interoperability, and others.
