The parent company of the issuer, North York Ltd, has acquired a telemedicine platform ‘Ask the Doctor.’ This acquisition will help the Bitcoin credit card issuer enter the healthcare industry with crypto payments.
The press release stated the deal was a unique convergence of crypto and telemedicine. North York’s expertise in crypto and Ask the Doctor’s reach in healthcare services will help the deal, said the press release. It also added that it aimed to revolutionize healthcare accessibility and delivery in the digital era.
