A huge projection of the letter B, signifying Bitcoin, was projected on the TV tower of Berlin.
Twitter and other social media sites were buzzing with photographs of the Bitcoin logo lighting up the Berliner Fernsehturm tower, also known as the TV tower. A slew of pictures was uploaded on several Twitter accounts, where the logo of the huge orange ‘B’ lit up the tower in Berlin. The person responsible for this feat was Tilo, the CEO of an events agency.
On being asked how the idea struck him, he said, “We just want to call attention on bitcoin! We’re fans of Guerilla actions like this and will keep on track.” His agency is going to hold the “Best of Blockchain” summit in 2023. He explained how he performed the feat, stating that it was a simple process consisting of a mixer, power station, and a ‘special Bitcoin logo.’ He had also tried the same earlier but was unsuccessful since he used a weak beamer.
Tilo has been regularly performing such feats. Another time he did it was on the Berlin wall, but he advises others to perform such tasks with caution. Reddit was also brimming with discussions on the event, with users having opinions on both sides of the coin. The Bank of England had also seen such an incident occur in 2021 when a Bitcoin quote was projected on the bank.
