Learning about blockchain gets easier with Tether’s new program

Tether has launched a blockchain education initiative, which aims to aid learning about blockchain technology through workshops, classes, and a host of other programs.

Stablecoin firm Tether has launched its educational initiative program called Tether Edu. The program will work towards learning about blockchain through various programs. Moreover, Tether Edu would supervise various workshops, classes, and courses enabling the blockchain education initiative.

In a press release, Tether mentioned the blockchain education program will be spread across the globe. Tether Edu will partner with experts and pioneers in the industry and offer programs in various educational areas. Along with blockchain, the programs will cover coding, artificial intelligence, and design.

“We firmly believe that financial tools, exemplified by USDt, are not merely instruments for transactions but catalysts capable of rewriting economic history. Education stands as the cornerstone of this journey, serving as a linchpin for fostering economic prosperity and sustainable development,” said the CEO of Tether, Paolo Ardoino.

The head of Tether also stated how their blockchain education program will boost economic growth. He said it will do so through bridging knowledge gaps and empowering individuals. But, it is not the first time a program like Tether Edu has strategically aligned with the interests of the crypto industry.

Earlier, Tether also partnered with Lugano Plan B, an initiative in the Swiss city of Lugano to promote crypto adoption. Tether used its expertise to work together with the city for crypto-friendly policies. It also worked together with firms in Thailand and Georgia for similar programs.

Tether’s CEO also took to social media to claim their program was unique to other crypto and blockchain courses. He termed Tether Edu as a ‘comprehensive global edu-tech platform.’
