Major automobile manufacturers entering NFTs and a new blockchain game for children are among the newest developments

BMW and Porsche have made advancements in web3, while the popular Baby Shark will feature in a new game.

Several exciting new announcements were made recently in a series of positive news for the crypto industry. In a first, luxury car maker Porsche announced their further involvement into the web3 space with the launch of a non-fungible token (NFT) collection with 7500 unique car collectibles.

“Digital art is just one aspect of Porsche’s Web3 strategy. The sports car manufacturer is working to integrate the potential of blockchain technology into existing and future processes and solutions.”, stated their announcement.

Another German manufacturer of automobiles, BMW, has reportedly applied for trademarks for its logo for various web3 products and services. The collectibles would span from vehicles, clothing, and footwear to metaverses and games. The application stressed on NFTs and an online store for all its collectibles.

In another development, the insanely popular music video for children, Baby Shark, will be tokenized into various NFTs for its characters as part of a blockchain-based game. Developed by Pinkfong, Baby Shark has become a hallmark of children’s songs. Now, Pinkfong has entered into an agreement with Toekenz Collectibles to help children foray into NFTs through the game and help them learn about the ecosystem.
